Collectif crée à l’initiative d’une exposition de Crypto Art qui rassemble des artistes mêlant l’Art et les crypto-monnaies.

À l’aube des 10 ans de la création du Bitcoin, cette exposition est une première mondiale : des artistes internationaux issus de divers horizons exposent leurs œuvres autour de la thématique du Bitcoin et des crypto-monnaies. Ils nous font découvrir les symboles de cet univers encore peu connu du grand public et illustrent la genèse de cette révolution numérique similaire aux prémices d’internet.

L’exposition montre le potentiel des crypto-monnaies par la symbolique et la pratique. Elles sont partie intégrante du processus de création artistique et permettent de faire l’acquisition des œuvres en Bitcoin ou autres crypto-monnaies (Litecoin, Monero, Ethereum).

Du Bitcoin est caché dans certaines œuvres et des certificats d’authenticité inscrits dans la blockchain Bitcoin sont également délivrés aux acquéreurs.

L’exposition est ouverte au public et se déroule du 28 septembre au 5 octobre 2018 de 10h à 18h dans une ancienne galerie d’Art (appartenant à ERM Développement) au 15 avenue de Messine, 75008 Paris.

Une occasion unique de décoder les bouleversements potentiels que peuvent engendrer les crypto-monnaies et la blockchain dans le monde de l’art :

• Quels changements dans la relation entre l’artiste et son public ?
• Vendre des œuvres sans intermédiaires est-il maintenant possible ?
• Est-ce une manière de s’affranchir des codes du marché de l’art et du système bancaire pour une plus grande liberté de création ?

L’exposition organisée par l’artiste français Pascal Boyart propose de découvrir le Crypto Art, mouvement inspiré par les idéaux de décentralisation.

Bitcoin Art (r)evolution – The rendezvous between Art and cryptocurrencies

Approaching the 10 years birthday of Bitcoin, this exhibition is a world premiere in Paris: international artists from various horizons exhibit their works about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. They make us discover the symbols of this universe still little known to the general public by illustrating the genesis of this digital revolution similar to the beginnings of the Internet.

The exhibition shows the potential of crypto-currencies through symbolism and practice. It’s used as an integral part of the process of artistic creation and allows the acquisition of works in Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies (Litecoin, Monero, Ethereum).

Some bitcoin is hidden in artworks and certificates of authenticity registered in the Bitcoin blockchain are issued to buyers.

The public opening took place from September 28th to October 5th, 10am to 6pm in an ancient art gallery (owned by ERM Development) on 15 avenue de Messine, 75008 Paris, France.

A unique opportunity to decode the potential disruptions cryptocurrency and blockchain can cause in the world of art:
– What changes in the relationship between the artist and his audience?
– Is selling artworks without intermediaries now possible?
– Will freeing yourself from the art market and the restriction of banking system give the artists a greater freedom of creation?

The exhibition organized by the French artist Pascal Boyart proposes to discover Crypto Art, a movement inspired by the ideals of decentralization. The leading figures will be present with the American artists Andy Bauch and Coin Artist.
